Surfer

I got up early this morning to watch a friend run out in the headlands. In between the start and the finsh I spend time shooting the surfers, they ended up being my favorite pics of the days.

Light

This beautiful tree was hidden amounst a large grove of Red Woods. The sun somehow found it's was to the forest floor just in time for me to get this shot. One of us likes the B/W, the other prefers the color. Anyone what to weigh in?

Poppies

Another day at the office!! The hills in Northern California are dotted with poppies right now. Amazing Color!

Elephants!!!

What I did on my spring break.....what were you expecting? I am 46! I was inspired by a great b&w photo of an elephants eye. Lucky for me, the Oakland Zoo has a few subjects for me to work with. Happy Spring everyone!
