Christmas Eve-Eve

This was one of those lucky shots. I looked out our living room window to this amazing full moon rising...jumped in the car and 5 minutes down the road. I was not sure where I was going but I found this clearing just as the moon started to line up with the Angel Island Christmas tree.

The Bridge is one of my favorite locations. We are about 5 minutes away and I often drive up around sunset. It is constantly changing. Sometimes dramatic and sometimes just amazing.

Breakfast

This amazing young peregrine falcon (thank you Matthew, my bird of prey expert) decided to eat his breakfast on the roof of the house next to us. We were able to watch him for a good 15 minutes as he enjoyed his meal and kept an eye out for the crows hoping to pick up a scrap or two from him.

Visitor

The same day I shot the coyote, I had to chase this little guy out of the house...he is looking in the window and wanting back in.

Coyote

I was on my way out to the headlands to shoot the sunset when this coyote approached my car looking for a little hand out.

Mustard Hill

A Sunday drive with Chris turned into a great photo op. when what started out as a beautiful clear sky turned cloudy and dramatic.

Mendocino Sunset

This was an amazing combination of a sunset and a bit of fog rolling in on the Mendocino coast.
